Emergency Email Notification System
The Village of Delanson has initiated this Emergency Email Notification System so residents can be notified by email immediately of important information or any emergency situation that has developed in the Village. Examples would be water main breaks, water main repairs, hydrant flushing, sudden changes in Village services such as garbage pickup or snow plowing, flooding, road closings, damaged roads etc.. Emails will not be sent for normal news items, notices or scheduled events. In addition, updates will be emailed to keep residents informed of the ongoing circumstances as new information is received by the Village until the event or emergency is over. There is no cost for this service.
Choices:
1) I’m a Village Resident: Is anyone who resides within the boundaries of the incorporated Village and pays Village taxes – not the mailing address. Posted road signs show Village boundaries when entering the incorporated Village.
2) I Live Outside the Village: Anyone who lives outside the Incorporated Village boundaries. Could still have a Delanson mailing address, but is not a Village Resident and does not pay Village Taxes.
3) I’m On the Village Water System: Anyone who has a house that is plumbed to the Village Water System and pays Village water rent. Some houses are outside the Village, but are hooked to the Village Water System.
