The Duanesburg Historical Society will be commemorating the 1892 naming of Delanson with the unveiling of a NYS Historical marker in the Village Memorial Park on Saturday September 13th from 10am 
to 3pm. There will be guided tours of the Delanson Railroad Yard, and a self-guided walking tour to the Delanson Methodist Church where there will be an open house. Printed material for both tours will be available. The walking tour has be excerpted from the work of Nancy Todd with the designation of the Delanson Historic District in 1984.
There will also be an Open House at the Research and Archive Center at 450 Quaker Lane in Quaker Street from 11am – 3pm, featuring D&H artifacts, photos and slide presentation. All are welcome.
